PRAY, PLEDGE, AND SERVE – 2022
Jackson Church is committed to helping people grow in their relationship with God. One way we do that is offering opportunities for individuals and families to pledge to grow spiritually; make a difference in our community; and serve the under-privillaged. Jackson Church sincerely appreciates all the prayers, donations, and commitments to the ministry of Jesus Christ! Let’s pledge towards 2022 so we deepen our relationship with God and can do even more ministry in Jackson and around the world as we continue to love as we have been loved by God and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. STUDENT DAY – Sunday, November 28
United Methodist Student Day is November 28, 2021. It’s a day when we celebrate our United Methodist students and receive an offering to support scholarships for qualified United Methodist applicants.
We are grateful for our students and their desire to fulfill their dreams. Our students are the future of The United Methodist Church. Let us honor them in a special way on Student Day. When you give to the United Methodist Student Day offering, your gifts support the Gift of Hope Scholarship that is awarded to United Methodist students annually.
Please pray for our students and add the date to your calendars and be prepared to support our students.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER
Kick off the Christmas season with a night of fun at Jackson Church!
In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with challenges from every direction. You won’t believe the mayhem – and the fun – when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on! Before the play, performers from our dance and vocal classes will take the stage and present what they have worked on over the past few months.
Snacks and drinks will be available during intermission, all proceeds go right back into supporting the program. Come out and support the kids!
We will also be performing on Dec. 5th at 4:00 PM at Farmingdale UMC if you aren’t able to make this show! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-best-christmas-pageant-ever-tickets-206281211657

Concession Donations- JAM Show
Please help us stock our concession stand! We sell concessions during the JAM shows to raise funds to support future JAM programming! Please turn your concession donations in by November 28 (unless perishable) , so we know what additional items we might need. Click here for a list of items and to sign-up.
JAM Show 2021 Volunteers
We need helpers backstage for all dress rehearsals and shows! Please consider signing up for one dress rehearsal spot and one show spot (ideally in the same location: the Saturday dress rehearsal and show will be at Jackson Church and the Sunday dress rehearsal and show will be at Farmingdale FUMC). Then you can watch the show during the next performance.
We also need someone who will check tickets, give out programs, and usher.
And, we need several people to help sell concessions on Saturday night at Jackson Church.

POINSETTIA DURING ADVENT AND CHRISTMAS ARE A WAY TO REMEMBER OR HONOR YOUR LOVED ONES – Sunday, December 5 at 10am during worship
We are setting aside a special time for remembering and honoring loved ones on Sunday, December 5 during our worship service. The love of those relationships are significant. God has blessed them. Also, for those we are remembering who have gone to be God in heaven, we recognize God’s amazing grace through Jesus Christ.
We will be reading the names and placing a poinsettia in the sanctuary for each loved one that will remain in the sanctuary until Christmas. If you include a picture of your loved one, we will show it as their name is read on December 5. You can make a donation to cover the cost of the poinsettia, but it is not required to participate. To participate in the time of remembrance click this link to list the name(s) and order your poinsettia(s).
