Stewardship Campaign 2022 – Pray, Pledge, and Serve Form

A pledge to pray, pledge, and serve for 2022 will empower our ministries as they draw close to God and rely on His strength to accomplish the goals for the coming year. With your participation and commitment our ministries like CFF, numerous missions, Sunday School, VBS, worship, just to name a few, are making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

Every day lives are being transformed. People are experiencing freedom, forgiveness, healing, and wholeness as they through faith, give their lives to Jesus Christ. Take some time for prayerful consideration and then indicate your commitment for the coming year to God through Jackson Church.

2022 will be a critical year in the life of our church. Your prayers, service, and financial support for the church will be a blessing to you, your family, our community, and around the world.

Where Your Giving Goes

When you tithe or give to the ministry of Jackson Church, you are giving to a church committed to (1) expressing God’s amazing grace and incredible love for people here in Jackson and around the world; (2) learning about life the way God designed it; and (3) living our faith in community and the world.

Tithing

When you tithe, you’re making the choice to trust God with your finances.

What is Tithing? Tithing is the biblical principle of giving 10% of our income back to God through the church because we recognizing that God has given us everything. We’ve seen God provide abundantly in our church, and we know He will provide abundantly for you and your family when you put Him first in your finances. In fact, it’s the one area in the Bible where God tells you to test Him. God says:

“Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not drop their fruit before it is ripe,” says the Lord Almighty.”

MALACHI 3:10-11

In Jackson Township and other local communities, Jackson Church has a direct impact on people’s lives, people you might know! Whether it’s offering hope through worship and classes; educating our children; feeding people in need; fueling the Jackson Food Bank; helping people with bills in hard times; transforming the schools by direct involvement; offering a place of safety and recovery and much more. Right here in Jackson.

Also, together in partnership with other United Methodist Churches, we care for survivors recovering from earthquakes and storms; we invest, long term, in vulnerable communities; we implement the most effective solutions to diseases like malaria; we equip the next generation to lead the church and society. In all of this, we share the good news of Jesus Christ.

3-month Tithe Challenge

God tells us in Malachi 3:10-11 to test His faithfulness by returning the first 10% of our income to Him. This is called the tithe. Countless people experience His blessings when they tithe, but the first step can be the hardest one to take.

The Three-Month Tithe Challenge is a great way to take your next step toward experiencing God’s faithfulness. Click here for details and to take the challenge.

Estate Planning and Non-Cash Giving

Estate planning:
“Legacy giving” can help you provide for your church and local community through your estate. This can help avoid probate while minimizing taxes and support causes close to your heart. More importantly, it provides a biblical understanding of stewardship and how biblical principles can influence your estate-planning decisions.

We offer classes and workshops for those interested in learning these principles of biblically focused financial management lead by financial professionals. If you would like to be notified about the next workshop, please contact the church office.

Non-cash contributions:
You can find creative ways to make contributions to Jackson Church’s ministries through non-cash gifts. Here are a few options to consider: Stocks and mutual funds, life insurance, retirement assets, bequests, and charitable gift fund donations. For additional information, contact the office or the Pastor directly.
