MONTHLY POTLUCK SUPPER
Wednesday, October 28, 5:30-7 pm. Bring a dish to share for a time of fellowship, warmth and comfort. All are welcome.

PRAYER GATHERING
Pleasant Grove UMC is hosting a monthly Community Prayer Night at 7pm, on the second Tuesday of each month. This will be a special time for us to come together in prayer for our churches, our community of Jackson, our country, our leaders, and especially our schools and children! The next gathering is November 10.

CHARGE CONFERENCE
This annual business meeting is October 31, 9am, Browns Mills United Methodist Church, 2 Pemberton-Browns Mills Rd, Browns Mills, NJ. Presiding Elder: Rev. Hyun-Bo Shim. 

THE GROWING CLOSET
Our thrift store at the church had its Grand Opening on May 23. We offer gently used children and young adult clothing and accessories. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Hours are Saturday, 9-1; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9-1 p.m. Volunteers are welcome. Talk to Sue Moore for any details.

TRUNK OR TREAT
Friday, October 30, Jackson Church and Sunbeam Preschool will be hosting a Trunk-or-Treat from 6pm-8:30pm and Open Mic night, 6-9pm. We are asking all ministries to participate and are looking for candy donations and volunteers to host and decorate their cars. Signup by October 28. 

COMMUNITY GARDEN
We’ve doubled the size of our garden project on the church grounds, and have been harvesting regularly. Any and all help is encouraged; no experience needed, just the desire to grow things. Talk to Nadine Schaefer or Sherry Heinzerling, if interested.

NEW!! MOMMY & ME CLASS
Infants through age five and their Moms (or Dads) are invited to come for a free class, followed by a tour of Sunbeam Christian Preschool. Thursdays, 10 am.

SUNBEAM CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL
Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is open for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old. School starts September 14. The school offers a unique combination of creative and religious curriculums, uses progressive teaching methods and features a warm and engaging environment where children can learn and grow..

TNT YOUTH GROUP
A bonfire is planned for October 16, 7pm. Bring a snack to share. All are welcome. Contact Sue Moore for information.

JACKSON ARTS MINISTRY
JAM fall shows are now in rehearsal. The shows will be Footloose, the Musical, for 9-12 graders and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, for 5-8 graders. Junior Jammers will be preparing Sense and Sensibility for Kids. Those interested in behind the scenes action can apply for stage crew, sets or costume assistance. For more JAM info: jacksonam.org. Almost 100 young people are involved in this ever-growing program, along with many adult volunteers. There is a place for every willing participant. Shows are in December 4, 5 and 6 and December 11. Watch for ticket details.

CHURCH T-SHIRTS
Show your love for our church mission: order a T-shirt. Two messages and two colors are available: “You Matter” and “Sunday Morning Club.” Sizes range from Youth XS-XL and Adult S-3X. Cost is $15 each. Sign up sheets are at the Welcome Table.

CHANGE IS GOOD!
Brightly colored tins are on display in the narthex, representing collections for our wish list items. Any form of monetary donation is accepted. Coins, checks or bills, we welcome it all.

CHRISTIAN FRIENDS FOREVER (CFF)
CFF is a Christian fellowship for adults and older teens with special needs. If you know anyone who is interested, please invite them, or contact Meredith Markov through the church office. Mentors and volunteers are always welcome! Meetings take place the first two Mondays of the month.

FOOD PROGRAMS
~ DeBows UM Church has an active food pantry that always needs volunteers. Talk to Kristen Heinzerling to sign up for a shift. A Signup Genius link is live on the church home page.
~ Grocery Store gift cards in $20-$50 denominations are always appreciated. They can be put in the offering plate or taken to our church office.

BIBLE STUDIES
Eileen Triolo leads a weekly online class at 6:30 pm on Tuesdays.  

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
Come grab a bite to eat with the guys every Wednesday morning at 8 am at the Mug Rack.

VOLUNTEER
Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life and in the life of our community? We are looking for people with a heart for service to help with our Sunday School or serve as greeters on Sunday morning.
Also, we are looking for caring people to help with our Grief Share Program, as well as checking on members who are not able to get to church. Email Pastor Denise at  [email protected] if you are interested.
