MONTHLY POTLUCK SUPPER
Wednesday, August 26, 5-7 pm. Bring a dish to share for a time of fellowship, warmth and comfort. All are welcome.

THE GROWING CLOSET
Our thrift store at the church had its Grand Opening on May 23. We offer gently used children and young adult clothing and accessories. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Hours are Saturday, 9-1; and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9-1 p.m. Volunteers are welcome. Talk to Sue Moore for any details.

COMMUNITY GARDEN
We’ve doubled the size of our garden project on the church grounds, and have begun to harvest herb and vegetables. Any and all help is encouraged; no experience needed, just the desire to grow things. We have begun handing out tomatoes, cucumbers, beans and herbs at the welcome table after worship. Talk to Nadine Schaefer or Sherry Heinzerling, if interested.

IGNITE THE NIGHT
Our second annual outdoor worship concert will be held August 14 at 7 pm. This event is open to the public and free. Bring your lawn chairs and ask your neighbors. If it rains, we’ll move inside.

FIREFLY CHRISTIAN SUMMER CAMP
Registration is now open for camp! From June 29 to Aug. 21, the camp offers eight weekly themes. Sign up your kids, ages 3 through 12, for one week, several weeks or all eight. After care is offered. Go to fireflysummercamp.com

JACKSON ARTS MINISTRY
JAM fall shows are now accepting applications for auditions. The shows will be Footloose, the Musical, for 9-12 graders and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, for 5-8 graders. Auditions will be August 20 and 22. Junior Jammers will be preparing Sense and Sensibility for Kids, with rehearsals starting Sept. 18. Those interested in behind the scenes action can apply for stage crew, sets or costume assistance. For more JAM info: jacksonam.org. Almost 100 young people are involved in this ever-growing program, along with many adult volunteers. No one is turned away.

IGNITE THE NIGHT
Our second annual open-air, under-the-stars concert. Tentatively set for Friday, August 14. Details to come.

CHURCH T-SHIRTS
Show your love for our church mission: order a T-shirt. Two messages and two colors are available: “You Matter” and “Sunday Morning Club.” Sizes range from Youth XS-XL and Adult S-3X. Cost is $15 each. Sign up sheets are at the Welcome Table.

CHANGE IS GOOD!
Brightly colored tins are on display in the narthex, representing collections for our wish list items. Any form of monetary donation is welcome. Coins, checks or bills, we welcome it all.

SUNBEAM CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL
Enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year is open for children ages 2.5 to 5 years old. Private tours are available upon request, please contact Samantha Marley: [email protected] or (732) 833-8808 ext. 2 for more information. The school offers a unique combination of creative and religious curriculums, uses progressive teaching methods and features a warm and engaging environment where children can learn and grow..

YOUTH GROUP
A day at Lake Horicon is planned for August 15, 2-6pm. Youth are to bring beach gear and snacks. Pizza will be ordered.

CHRISTIAN FRIENDS FOREVER (CFF)
CFF is a Christian fellowship for adults and older teens with special needs. If you know anyone who is interested, please invite them, or contact Meredith Markov through the church office. Mentors and volunteers are always welcome! Meetings take place the first two Mondays of the month. CFF is on break for the summer and meet up again in September. .

FOOD PROGRAMS
~ DeBows UM Church has an active food pantry that always needs volunteers. Talk to Kristen Heinzerling to sign up for a shift. A Signup Genius link is live on the church home page.
~ Grocery Store gift cards in $20-$50 denominations are always appreciated. They can be put in the offering plate or taken to our church office.

PULSE YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY
Every second and fourth Friday of the month! Open to all 18-30 year olds. Talk to Cole Rupp for details.

BIBLE STUDIES
Eileen Triolo leads a weekly online class at 6:30 pm on Tuesdays.  

MEN’S FELLOWSHIP BREAKFAST
Come grab a bite to eat with the guys every Wednesday morning at 8 am at the Mug Rack.

VOLUNTEER
Do you want to make a difference in someone’s life and in the life of our community? We are looking for people with a heart for service to help with our Sunday School or serve as greeters on Sunday morning.
Also, we are looking for caring people to help with our Grief Share Program, as well as checking on members who are not able to get to church. Email Pastor Denise at  [email protected] if you are interested.
